About us

Our interest is that nobody forget an important part of Berlin history (between 1945 and 1994) and our American GI´s and friends. That's why we arrange in the last years many different events and exhibitions for everybody - young children, grown ups, veterans and witness of the times.

Here do you find a list with some events, exhibitions and commemoration ceremonies that the USMVC Berlin arrange with his own exhibits.

  • Extensive cooperation with CARE Germany at the following projects (only some examples): Charity action for the program „Kids help Kids“, at the closing party for the children's world day in the front of the town hall of Berlin, reception for the CARE International conference and many more

  • Meeting from the witness of the times

  • Exhibition in the German Technical Museum „Airlift Anniversary“

  • Name giving ceremony for the airplane „Spirit of Berlin“ through the former president of the USA, William Clinton

  • Official German Exhibition for the 50th Airlift Anniversary at the International aviation and astronautics event (ILA 98´)

  • many different events and exhibitions in and at the doors of the district hall of Berlin-Tempelhof to the following themes:
    „50th Airlift Anniversary“ and

  • Participation in a documentation movie about the U.S. gulf club in Berlin. Special guest was Glen Juris

  • Our R.I.A.S. doge for the Exhibition “America Is On Your Side“ in the American house Berlin 

  • Farewell parade for the 5th-502nd Infantry Regiment in Berlin-Steglitz

  • Exhibition on the farewell party at the McNair Barracks in Berlin-Zehlendorf

  1991 - 1994

  • Exhibitions for the historical part of the U.S. Army Berlin for the "Days of open door" at McNair Barracks and Berlin-Gatow at several times

Uniforms, equipment, food rations, crests, badges, TM´s, photos, documents,  and many other things from the American Allies who in former time stationed in Germany (specially Berlin)!
